Talkative letters

This was a project to edit an existing typeface to match someones personality. The person that I matched has a very talkative personality, as well as being friendly, bubbly and quite random. This is the resulting typeface I came up with. I used Cooper as the starting font, and developed a simple system of adding personality to the letters. I used a cut-away triangle for the mouths, and a circle with a small ellipse for the eyes. The only other modification was blanking out the counters. I was surprised with how well some of the letters turned out, the '@' and the 't' are my favorites I think. The 'g' was the only letter I didn't blank out the counter as I used the top counter as an eye and the bottom seemed to work as an additional mouth, in a sort of Picasso style! 

Overall I feel this is the best work I have done on the course so far
