Dissect project, letter design.

These are the results of my 'Dissect' project. I was briefed to edit existing typefaces to represent a given word, in my case 'dissect'

G, F and L, various styles on the dissect theme.

A's scalpel cut-outs, two layers of bent paper to create subtle 3D.

I was pretty pleased with these as the first, quick individual project of the course. The A's and the K's are the ones I feel worked the best, the results of the crit were interesting with generally favorable comments, but it was felt the 'L' missed the brief and didn't communicate the word 'dissect' nearly as well as the other letters.
